Ann Arbor, Mich. - Nebraska junior Grant Perdue struggled Saturday night, just barely missing the mark for All-American honors. Perdue qualified for the individual event finals on floor exercise and vault after finishing in the top ten on both events Friday night. The native of Sugar Land, Texas earned a 14.65 on floor and a 14.60 on vault.

The night's competition was split into two flights, with floor exercise, still rings and pommel horse running in the first flight. Perdue was slated to compete eighth of the ten competitors on floor exercise. After seeing disappointment on floor, Perdue switched his attention to vault in hopes of seeing success during the second set. The junior was set to vault second to last, but was unable to overcome his bad luck.

The Huskers finished the season with a eighth-place performance at the NCAA Championships, posting a team score of 426.350 on Thursday afternoon in Ann Arbor. Perdue was the lone Husker to qualify for event finals at the NCAAs after five NU competitors qualified for the event semifinals on Friday evening.
