Bob Devaney Sports Center
The home of Nebraska Volleyball beginning in the 2013 season, the 7,907-seat Bob Devaney Sports Center is one of the top venues in all of college athletics.
The Huskers' home prior to the 2013 season, the Coliseum was used as a home court for Husker Athletics since since the 1920s, serving as the home of the men's basketball program until the mid 1970s. The Volleyball team called the Coliseum home since the program's inception in 1975, and the building was redesigned specifically for volleyball in 1992. Nebraska has ranked among the nation's attendance leaders for the last two decades and has sold out 219 consecutive matches dating back to the 2001 season.
The Devaney Center features many amenities that will make it the premier volleyball venue in the nation. The renovated building includes five suites, ceiling trusses that mimic the Coliseum and a great wall to replicate the Coliseum entry. The Devaney Center also includes a high definition center-hung video board and 10MM video boards on each side. Fan amenities include increased and renovated restrooms and updated concession stands. The volleyball program also benefits from a new locker room, ready room and administrative offices.
The Huskers have their own team room inside the Devaney Center, which includes dedicated study areas, a locker room and places to relax.
