Big Red Prepare for Battle at Big House
Lincoln - Nebraska Coach Bo Pelini and the Huskers met with members of the media Monday at Memorial Stadium to discuss Saturday's Big Ten Conference game at Michigan.
Kickoff between the Huskers (6-2, 3-1 Big Ten) and the Michigan Wolverines (6-2, 2-2 Big Ten) is set for 2:30 p.m. with live television coverage on ABC.
Nebraska stayed in the hunt for the Big Ten Legends Division title with its walk-off Hail Mary victory over Northwestern at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln on Saturday. Freshman wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp's catch off of Ron Kellogg III's deflect 49-yard heave gave Nebraska a 27-24 win over the Wildcats. The win allowed Nebraska to stay just one game back in the loss column to 5-0 Michigan State, which rolled to a 29-6 win over the Wolverines in East Lansing Saturday.
Michigan carries a 4-2-1 lead in the all-time series with Nebraska, including a 45-17 win by the Wolverines in Ann Arbor in 2011. The 113,718 fans who witnessed that game in person made up the largest crowd to ever watch Nebraska play.
