Swimming and Diving Win Life Skills Team Award
The Nebraska swimming and diving team earned its third-straight Life Skills Team Award on Sunday

For the third-consecutive year, Head Coach Pablo Morales and the Nebraska swimming and diving team were awarded the Life Skills Team Award of Excellence at Sunday evening's Student-Athlete Recognition Banquet. Well over 700 people attended the 24th annual banquet, which was held at the Embassy Suites in downtown Lincoln. The Nebraska wrestling team also repeated as winners of the life skills award.

In addition, the Nebraska women's tennis and men's golf teams took home the Herman Team Grade-Point Average award. The banquet's individual award winners were Emily Wong (gymnastics) and Seth Wiedel (golf), earning Nebraska Female and Male Student-Athletes of the year. As such, both were also named winners of the prestigious Big Ten Medal of Honor.
