Lincoln – ESPN and the Big Ten Conference announced that Nebraska’s Big Ten home opener against Michigan on Thursday, Jan. 9, will be televised on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. (CT).

The game time was previously announced as 8 p.m., but the television network was undetermined until today. The Huskers will host the NCAA runner-up Wolverines, as the only home game in a five-game stretch after Christmas.

The Jan. 9, game is the final holiday break game and a limited number of tickets are available in each level, with prices ranging from $10 to $30. Tickets can be purchased by visiting or calling 800-8-BIGRED. In addition, UNL students can still purchase a limited number of tickets available, but would need to call the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office during office hours to purchase.

The Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Thursday and Friday with limited office hours over the holidays (10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Dec. 23, 26, 27, 30 and 31). Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, Jan. 2

A reminder that a limited number of tickets for Saturday’s final non-conference game against the Citadel have become available because of winter break and can be purchased by visiting Huskers, calling 800-8-BIGRED during office hours or at the Pinnacle Bank Arena Box Office beginning 90 minutes prior to Saturday’s tipoff.

The Huskers are 7-3 on the season following a 79-67 win over Arkansas State on Dec. 14, and have won eight straight home games dating back to last season.
