Greenwood, Ind. - Katelyn Wright claimed her fourth straight top-25 finish to lead the Nebraska women's golf team at the Hoosier Fall Invitational, Saturday and Sunday in Greenwood, Ind.

Wright, a senior from Incline Village, Nev., tied for 25th with a 54-hole score of 225 (74-75-76) in a 96-player field on the Hickory Stick Golf Club. Wright helped the Huskers to a three-round team total of 911 (307-301-303) to finish in 11th place in a 16-team field.

UC Davis captured the team title with a three-round total of 868, while Illinois claimed a runner-up finish 16 shots back at 884. Louisville finished third at 887. Betty Chen from UC Davis took individual medalist honors for her three-round score of 210 (72-69-69). Chen finished two strokes ahead of Minnesota's Carmen Laguna (72-73-67-212).

Sophomore Cassie Deeg was NU's No. 2 finisher in the tournament, tying for 30th with a three-round score of 226 (79-71-76), just one shot behind Wright. Deeg's second-round 71 was Nebraska's best individual round of the tournament on the par-71, 6,062-yard layout at Hickory Stick. 

Jordan Chael tied for 42nd at 230 (75-78-77). The freshman from Overland Park, Kan., also notched a hole-in-one on the par three sixth hole in Sunday's final round.

Senior Steffi Neisen settled for a tie for 51st at 232 (79-77-76), while sophomore Morgan Smejkal tied for 62nd at 234 (79-80-74). Smejkal's final-round 75 was Nebraska's best individual score on Sunday.

Fellow sophomores Hannah Luebke (77-77-78-233) and Cassidy Stelzmiller (80-76-77-233) added ties for 55th while playing as individuals outside the Husker lineup.

Nebraska closes fall action next week at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, Oct. 27-29
