Lincoln - Nebraska Coach Bo Pelini and the Huskers met with members of the media Monday at Memorial Stadium to discuss Saturday's Big Ten Conference game against Northwestern.

Kickoff between the Huskers (5-2, 2-1 Big Ten) and the Northwestern Wildcats (4-4, 0-4 Big Ten) is set for 2:30 p.m. with live television coverage on BTN.

The Huskers will be looking to bounce back after a 34-23 road loss at Minnesota last Saturday. The loss dropped Nebraska to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten Conference play. The setback also dropped Nebraska out of both national polls this week.

Northwestern comes to Lincoln with a 4-4 record, including an 0-4 mark in Big Ten action. After starting the season with four straight wins, the Wildcats have dropped their past four games in conference play, with three of those losses by 10 or fewer points.

Saturday’s game will be the seventh matchup all-time between the schools and the third as Big Ten Conference foes. Nebraska holds a 4-2 edge in the series, including a 2-1 advantage in games played in Lincoln. The schools met just once in the regular season between 1931 and 2011 when Nebraska joined the Big Ten.
