Nebraska diver Anna Filipcic returns to Minneapolis, Minn., the site of her two best performances this season, for the 2014 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships held March 20-22. Filipcic was the lone Husker to qualify for the meet and the first diver for the Huskers since Amie Buoy, who competed in the one- and three-meter dives in 2005.

Filipcic, a freshman from Omaha, Neb., has tallied 16 top-five finishes this season, including nine event titles. In December she was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week one week after being named Big Ten Diver of the Week for her efforts at Iowa's Hawkeye Invitational.

Filipcic qualified for the NCAA meet after finishing fourth in the three-meter dive at the Zone D Diving Meet last week at the same venue, the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. She will compete in both the one- and three-meter dives, held Thursday and Friday at the meet.

The 2014 NCAA Championships begin with preliminaries at 11 a.m. and finals at 7 p.m. each day, with live streaming available on GopherSports.com for both sessions on Thursday and the morning sessions on Friday and Saturday. ESPN3 will stream the event finals on Friday and Saturday evening. Check back in to Huskers.com for updates.
