Norman, Okla. - The No. 12 Nebraska men's gymnastics team traveled to Oklahoma University for their final away meed of the regular season. The Huskers competed against No. 1 Oklahoma at the McCasland Field House at 4 p.m. CST on Sunday. NU earned a team score of 422.050.

The Huskers started on pommel horse, looking to set a solid foundation for the rest of the meet. Andrew House was first up on the event, earning a 13.40. Freshman Antonio Castro and senior Wyatt Aycock followed, earning a 13.80 and 12.65 respectively. Sophomore Ethan Lottman led NU on the event, earning a 14.20 for his routine. Senior Eric Schryver followed close behind, grabbing a 14.10.

NU then moved to floor for their second rotation. Lottman kicked off the rotation, earning a 13.65. He was followed by junior Josh Ungar (14.00), freshman Austin Epperson (14.45) and House (14.90). Junior Grant Perdue, a former All-American on floor, finished out the event for the Huskers, earning a 15.00, tying his season best set at the Arnold Challenge.

Nebraska then moved to vault to finish out the first half of the meet. Sam Chamberlain started off the event, earning a season-best 14.00 for his vault. Antonio Castro earned a 13.70, followed by Josh Ungar, who earned a new season best, 14.40. Aycock continued the upward trend of scores, earning a 14.55 for his vault. Grant Perdue once again led NU, earning a 15.25. His score was just 0.5 away from his personal best, which he set at Illinois last year.

The Huskers then moved to still rings, earning a team score of 71.650 on the event. Junior Robbie Kocks, who came into the night ranked 13th nationally, led Nebraska by earning a 15.55, breaking the school record. Antony Ingrelli set the previous record (15.50) in 2008. Seniors Donovan Arndt (14.80) and Zach Hedval (14.40) followed Kocks. Epperson (13.55) and Perdue (13.35) rounded out the five-man lineup.

NU struggled to continue their consistent performances during their fifth rotation, seeing a team score of 69.550 on high bar. Castro (13.45), Ungar (13.75) and Klein (13.50) started out the event, each one struggling during their routine. Epperson set the bar for the Huskers, setting a new personal best of 14.70 on the event. Schryver finished out the rotation for Nebraska, earning a 14.15.

The Huskers looked to finish the meet strong on their final rotation, parallel bars. However, struggles on the event left them with a team score of 68.800, their second lowest team score of the season on the event. Schryver led the team on the event, earning a 14.30. Klein followed close behind, grabbing a 14.20. Chamberlain (13.80), Epperson (13.70) and Aycock (12.80) rounded out the final rotation for the meet.

Nebraska finished out the meet with a total team score of 422.050. Lottman finished second overall on pommel horse and Kocks took home second on rings. Perdue just barely inched onto the vault podium, taking home third overall.

NU will return home to host Iowa, Minnesota, Air Force and Illinois for senior night on March 15. The meet will kick off at the Devaney Center at 4 p.m. CST.
