1997-98: Senior

On the singles court, Thoste posted an impressive 15-7 record at No. 3 singles and picked up another win at No. 4. Thoste was also recognized for her work in the classroom, earning first-team academic All-Big 12 honors.

1996-97: Junior
Primarily playing No. 4 singles, Thoste had her best season, compiling a 15-11 record as a junior. After going 2-1 during the fall season, she closed the season on a high note, winning each of her two Big 12 Championship matches in straight sets, including a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Monica St. Miguel, an opponent who defeated Thoste earlier in the spring. Thoste teamed with Sandra Noetzel, a fellow Hannover, Germany, native, to finish 15-6 at No. 1 doubles. The 15 wins tied for the team best, while the duo went 8-5 in in Big 12 matches.

1995-96: Sophomore
Thoste fashioned a 10-10 mark playing both No. 1 and No. 2 singles as a sophomore. At No. 1 singles, she went 6-7 and posted a 4-3 mark at No. 2 singles. In doubles, she teamed with fellow sophomore Lisa Hart in compiling a 5-9 record at No. 1 doubles.
