Before Nebraska (South Oak Cliff HS)
Jordan Stevenson was a late addition to the Husker football team, picking Nebraska in late July of 2015 over Alabama and Miami. A product of South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, Stevenson was ranked as a four-star recruit by 247 Sports, ESPN, Rivals and Scout.
The 5-9, 205-pound Stevenson was a second-team all-state selection by the Associated Press as a senior after producing 12 100-yard games. He averaged 180.7 rushing yards per game and 9.8 yards per carry as a senior, finishing with 2,530 yards and 28 touchdowns
Stevenson also went over 2,000 yards as a junior with 2,020 yards and 17 TDs in 2013, an average of 155.4 yards per game and 9.3 yards per carry.
Stevenson finished his varsity career with 4,991 yards of total offense (4,550 rushing and 441 receiving) and 53 total touchdowns.
Stevenson was born on Jan. 11, 1997, and he is the son of Qytwana Ross.
