Junior (2018-19)
Jessica Haraden (pronounced huh-RAY-den) in her third season at Nebraska hunting for a spot in the Husker lineup. 

She earned a trip to Nebraska's season-opening Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic in Fort Collins, Colo. (Sept. 17-19) as an individual competing outside the Husker lineup. She finished with a three-round total of 247 in 74th.

“Jess is one of those players that just kind of does her own thing and no single part of her game really stands out. She is just solid at everything,” Nebraska Coach Robin Krapfl said. “She has steadily gotten better and will be right in the hunt to help this team accomplish our goals.”

Sophomore (2017-18)
Haraden helped the Huskers with a trio of lineup appearances in her second season at Nebraska, while also competing in three tournaments as an individual.

The sophomore from Thousand Oaks, Calif., made consistent progress in her first season with the Huskers and enjoyed a strong summer of 2017. She opened the season by earning her first career lineup spot at the UNO Invitational at ArborLinks in Nebraska City, Sept. 1-2. She produced a career-best tie for 19th with a 232 (77-76-79) for her first career top-25 finish.

She played as an individual outside the lineup at Nebraska’s Chip-N Club Invitational, Oct. 1-3. Haraden managed a three-round total of 238 (86-75-81) to tie for 35th alongside Husker teammates Emily Gillman and Noor Ahmed at Nebraska’s lone home tournament of the year at Wilderness Ridge.

Haraden opened the spring as Nebraska’s top finisher at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, Feb. 11-13. Haraden fired a career-best three-round total of 230, while tying her career best with a 73 (par-71) in the opening round. She added rounds of 79 and 78 to tie for 26th overall.

She added a 233 (79-74-80) to tie for 81st at the Westbrook Spring Invitational, Feb. 25-26.  She competed as an individual at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 16-18, tying for 57th at 235 (76-80-79), before making her third lineup appearance of the year at the Mountain View Invitational in Tucson, Ariz., March 23-25. She finished 71st at Mountain View with a 54-hole total of 237 (78-81-78). Haraden’s 78.06 stroke average over 18 rounds ranked fifth among the Huskers on the season.

Freshman (2016-17)
One of five newcomers to join the Nebraska women’s golf program in 2016-17, Haraden saw her first action as a collegian at Nebraska’s Chip-N Club Invitational, Sept. 25-27. Haraden tied for 51st in the 65-player field at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course with a three-round total of 242 (88-81-73).

Haraden added a career-best 233 (82-74-77) as an individual playing outside the Nebraska lineup at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., Feb. 26-27. She tied for 68th individually.

She continued to improve her stroke average with three solid rounds while playing as an individual outside the Husker lineup at the Hawkeye El Tigre in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, April 2-4. Haraden carded a 54-hole total of 235 (79-77-79) in Mexico to tie for 54th individually.

Off the course, Haraden earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring of 2017. She was also a member of the 2017 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

High School/Amateur
A four-year contributor at Oaks Christian High School, Haraden was a California Interscholastic Federation individual finalist in 2014. 

Haraden posted a 75.4 scoring average as a senior at Oaks Christian High School in Thousand Oaks, Calif. She earned a spot in the 2014 CIF individual finals, while helping Oaks Christian to a Maramonte League team championship. She was also a first-team All-Ventura County Star selection in 2015.

Personal
The daughter of Marshall and Joanna Haraden, Jessica was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on Nov. 3, 1997. Jessica has an older brother Nick, an older sister, Anna, and a younger brother, Marshall IV.  An advertising and public relations major, Jessica claimed a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring of 2017. She is a two-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team (2017, 2018). Jessica also participated in a mission trip to Romania prior to attending the University of Nebraska.
