Indoor: Scored in both the long jump and triple jump at his first Big Ten Indoor Championships...finished sixth in the long jump with an indoor PR 24-3 (7.39m)...placed seventh in the triple jump at 50-2 1/2 (15.30m)...opened the indoor season with a triple jump PR of 51-8 1/2 (15.76m) to finish second in the Holiday Inn Invitational...won the long jump at the Nebraska Tune-Up with a mark of 23-11 1/2 (7.30m).

Outdoor: Placed 13th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the long jump at 24-6 1/4 (7.47m) to earn second-team All-America honors...earned USTFCCCA honorable mention after finishing 21st in the triple jump at nationals with a mark of 49-7 3/4 (15.13m)...won the USATF Junior Championships triple jump title with a wind-aided PR 53-2 1/4 (16.21m) to qualify for the Pan American Championships with Team USA...his jump was the No. 6 jump in NU outdoor history in any conditions...finished fifth in the long jump at 24-1 (7.34m) at the USATF Junior Championships...set a wind-aided long jump PR of 25-3 1/4 (7.70m) at the NCAA West Preliminary Round...won the long jump at the Wichita State KT Woodman Classic.

Before Nebraska
Attended Detroit East English High School…posted a long jump best of 23-11 (7.29m) and a triple jump best of 49-7 (15.11m)...was a 16-time All-American and a six-time AAU Junior Olympic national champion (three indoor, three outdoor)...broke the Michigan triple jump state record eight times during his senior year (four indoor, four outdoor)...set a 13-year old boys outdoor national record in the triple jump at 42-5 3/4 (12.94m) and the 13-year old boys indoor long jump national record at 18-7 1/4 (5.67m).
