Student-athletes are motivated as only the best from each sport get invited. This prestigious event spotlights the squat, which is the most important exercise that can help Nebraska student-athletes. Football uses both the squat and clean. As the best student-athletes improve, the entire team gets better.

The Husker Power Athlete of the Year, from each participating sport, receives an award and has their name displayed on the Record Platform in the Suh Strength and Conditioning Center.
