2019 (Sophomore)
Roby missed the 2019 campaign due to an injury but will return for her junior season.

Outside the gym, she was named Academic All-Big Ten for the first time in her career, named tot he Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, as well as being named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. 

2018 (Freshman)
Kynsee Roby started her career as a two-event specialist on bars and beam before progressing to all-around competition to close the year. In her first collegiate meet, she scored 9.85 on bars and 9.825 on beam at Penn State, helping her to a Big Ten Co-Freshman-of-the-Week honor on Jan. 16. She hit a season-high 9.85 on beam at Florida while also competing on bars and floor. Roby had her best meet of the season, recording season-highs on three events in the all-around at the Big Five meet. At the Big Five meet, she hit a career-high 39.350 in the all-around, when she posted a 9.80 on vault, career-high 9.90 on bars and 9.825 on floor while also scoring 9.825 on beam.  

Roby got off to an excellent start outside the gym, as she was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2017-18. She was also a member of the 2018 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.  

Before Nebraska
Roby is the latest Level 10 gymnast to sign with the Huskers out of Triad Gymnastics in Ankeny, Iowa, joining current senior Danielle Breen and sophomore Sierra Hassel as Huskers who trained under coaches Tom and Donna Moretti. Roby was a 2016 J.O. National qualifier, earning second-place finishes on bars and in the all-around, while finishing third on beam and floor. A talented beam worker, Roby won 14 beam titles in her club career, including a first-place finish on beam at the 2015 J.O. National meet. She also won Region 4 titles on bars and beam in 2015, as well as a Region 4 beam title in 2013. She also qualified to J.O. Nationals in 2013. Roby won a pair of state championships in her club career, taking the bars and beam titles at the Iowa State Championships in 2016, as well as the beam title at the 2012 Kansas State Championships. Roby chose Nebraska over Oklahoma, Denver, Missouri, and Iowa State.

The daughter of Joe and Kyetta Currier, Kynsee was born on Nov. 25, 1998. She has a step-brother, Cameron, and a step-sister, Corinne. A 2017 graduate of Valley High School, Roby is majoring in nutrition, exercise and health science and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2019. She is a three-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She was also a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2018 and 2019.
