Huskers Sit Fifth at GARC Championships

Morgantown, W.Va. – The Nebraska rifle ended the first day of the GARC Championships in fifth place after the conclusion of smallbore action.

The Huskers tallied a team score of 2,306. Emily Cheramie paced NU with a mark of 580. Nina Radulovic and Samantha Peterson brought in solid scores of 578 and 577, respectively. Dacotah Faught (571) and Kayla Gadeken (567) rounded out the squadded team members. Non-squadded Huskers included Hannah Virga (568), Maddie Korthas (561) and Elizabeth Ewert (559).

The Huskers are two points behind fourth-place NC State. West Virginia holds the top spot with a team score of 2,333. Kentucky (2,319) is in second and Navy (2,315) is in third. Army and Akron took sixth and seventh, respectively. Memphis is in eighth and Ole Miss is in ninth to round out the field.
