Huskers Fall to Vanderbilt

The Nebraska women’s bowling team lost to Vanderbilt on Saturday morning, 1-2, in the consolation bracket at the NCAA Championship at RollHouse Wickliffe in Wickliffe, Ohio.

The Huskers fell to the Commodores 947-992 in the traditional match meeting, winning the baker style match 984-913. The Big Red dropped the best of seven match 1,186-1,240.

Meghan Straub lead the Huskers with her individual average of 242.00. Estefania Prieto followed with her average of 203.00.

The Huskers were eliminated from competition for the 2019 NCAA Championship following this loss.
