- No. 2 Recruit in Kansas (2018)
Bradley Mittleman spent his first collegiate season at Old Dominion, where he posted a 4-1 singles mark and a 1-2 doubles record - all coming in fall tournament action. He went 2-1 at the Spider Invite in Richmond and 2-0 at the UTSA/ITA Regional Qualifier at Virginia Tech.
Mittleman was ranked as the No. 2 player in Kansas coming out of Blue Valley West High School. He was ranked as the No. 247 recruit in the country by TennisRecruiting.net while training at the Mike Wolf Tennis Academy.
"Bradley impressed us with his maturity, work ethic, and desire to grow his game," Nebraska Coach Sean Maymi said. "Having already played a year of college tennis at Old Dominion, he will be able to lead by example during his first year at Nebraska. We are excited to watch Bradley grow as a leader on and off the court here."
Mittleman attended Old Dominion as a true freshman and notched a 2-1 singles record in the fall of 2018 at the Spider Invite. He added a 1-1 mark in doubles play. The three-star recruit out of Blue Valley West High School and the Mike Wolf Tennis Academy chose Old Dominion over Miami and Elon.
In 2016, Mittleman finished fourth alongside teammate Ryan Moody at the Kansas Class 6A state tournament in doubles action.
"When I talked to Coach Maymi and Coach Boysen, I knew I wanted to be a part of them building a successful program. I am proud to be able to represent the outstanding legacy of University of Nebraska Athletics. This will be a great place for me to continue to develop as a person and a player."
