Lincoln - The Nebraska football team went through a two-hour practice in full pads inside Cook Pavilion on Monday, as the Huskers continued preparations for their regular-season finale at Colorado. Kickoff at Colorado is scheduled for 11:10a.m. Central time on Friday.

Nebraska Coach Frank Solich said the Huskers had a strong practice on Monday.

"It was a very energized practice today," Solich said. "They really moved around well in full pads and the contact was very good and very spirited. We felt good about what we got done today."

Solich said Nebraska would conclude its preparations for the Colorado game by practicing in sweats outside the next two days. He also said the Huskers were in good shape from a fitness standpoint to face the altitude in Boulder.

"We’ve had some good physical work since our last ballgame, and it makes sense to get out in sweats these last two practices," Solich said. "We’ve been conditioning hard, and we are in very good physical shape."
