The Huskers worked out in full pads today in Cook Pavilion.  Interim Head Coach Bo Pelini said the Huskers were a little sluggish today.  “They fought through it,” Pelini said.  “It wasn’t as crisp as it has been.  They were a little sluggish at first, but we got a good workout in.”

Pelini said most of the game plan was in place, but there was still work to be done.  “The basics of the game plan are in.  We’re about where we should be at this point.  We’ll practice Sunday here, then that will be it until we get down to San Antonio.  But there is a lot of work to be done between now and then.”

Pelini said there would be no practice on Saturday as 13 Husker football players (nine current) are graduating on Saturday (Bob Devaney Sports Center, 9:30 a.m.).  A total of 41 Husker student-athletes will graduate Saturday including current football players:  Ryon Bingham, Judd Davies, Josh Davis, Tim Green, Trevor Johnson, Tim Liley, Chris Loos, Curt Tomasevicz, and Andy Wingender.  Other graduating former Husker players include:  Kelly Cook, M.J. Flaum, Taylor Gehman and Jason Wentz.

Nebraska’s practice is closed to the media, before and after on Sunday.  The Huskers will depart at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, arriving in San Antonio at approximately 1 p.m. on Dec. 23.
