Season Outlook

Fully recovered from a back injury that forced her to cut short her workout schedule and kept her out of action for part of her freshman campaign, Drummond looks to try to secure a top-three finish at the conference meet along with an NCAA berth. With the loss of Laura Lunn to injury, Drummond will be asked to carry most of the load for the Husker divers.

As a Freshman (2000-01)

Despite battling a nagging back injury, Drummond was one of the top performers in the diving well for the Huskers last season...was the top Husker finisher at the Texas Invite, taking fourth on the one meter (256.45)...also picked up wins in the one meter versus Iowa State and Colorado State...finished fifth in her first conference championship on the one-meter springboard (269.0), setting a new personal best...took second during prelims at the conference meet on one meter (263.0).

Drummond's high school did not sponsor diving, but she did compete at the club level...placed first at two provincial meets in 2000 and was named the "Top Senior Diver" at a Western Canadian competition...also lettered two years in volleyball.

Personal Parents: Jim and Edith Drummond...born: June 18, 1981 in Edmonton...major: undecided.
