Minneapolis, Minn.- The Nebraska mens tennis team completed their second day at the Gopher Invitational winning a total of matches against DePaul Friday.
In singles play NU's Dusty Boyer knocked off DePaul's Filip Dzanko 3-6, 7-6,
10-4, while Marc Herrmann also was victorious against Depaul's Sten Levsink 6-1,
6-2. Nebraska's Andre Stenger also produced a win against DePaul's Kyle Johnson 6-2, 6-0. Eric Sock notched a win against DePaul's Mathias Hambach 6-4, 7-5. Tom Blackwell defeated DePaul's Jan Willem Feilzer 7-5, 6-1. Sebastian Florczyk fell to Depaul's Adam Reinhart 6-0, 6-3.
In doubles action the duo of Videtich and Elsass beat DePaul's Adam Reinhart and Kyle Johnson 8-3. Nebraska's pair of Blackwell and Boyer knocked off DePaul's Stem Levsink and Jan-Willem Feilzer 9-7. The duo of Stenger and Zitsch fell to DePaul's Mathias Hambach and Fillip Dzanko 8-6.
Day 3 Nebraska is set to play Drake and Dartmouth in both singles and doubles.
