Huskers Sign Team England Bowler

The Nebraska bowling program has announced the signing of Bethany Hedley to a letter of intent to attend Nebraska. The Hertfordshire, UK native has been a member of the Team England bowling squad since 2008.

Hedley has earned numerous awards in her bowling career and owns a high game of 300 and a high series of 756.

Most recently, Hedley has won back-to-back gold medals at the 2011 and 2012 European Youth Championships. The medals were in doubles competition. Hedley also placed third-overall in all-events at the 2011 European Youth Championships. In 2008, Hedley won a gold medal at the World Sports Festival in Vienna.

Hedley is scheduled to arrive on campus at the beginning of the fall 2012 semester.
