Huskers Have Two Named to All-Big Ten Teams

LINCOLN - The Big Ten announced the 2011-12 Men's Tennis All-Big Ten Teams on Thursday night, and the Huskers had two players receive honors at the award ceremony. Senior Christopher Aumueller was named on the First-Team All-Big Ten team along with receiving the Sportsmanship Award. Senior Benedikt Lindheim was named on the Second-Team All-Big Ten team.

Aumueller, a co-captain for the Huskers, has a record of 12-10 on the spring, while going 9-9 at the No. 1 spot. Aumeuller is 6-5 in Big Ten singles action. In doubles play, Aumueller has a record of 16-6. Lindheim, the second Husker co-captain, has as singles record of 16-8 on the year. He now has a total of 64 career wins, which puts him at fourth on the Huskers' all-time wins list. In doubles play, Lindheim has a record of 13-4.

The Huskers will be back in action on Friday morning as they take on the top-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament.
