Huskers in the Super Bowl

Nebraska has had 54 former Huskers make 69 appearances in the Super Bowl dating back to Super Bowl II following the 1967 season. Huskers have appeared in 36 of the 48 Super Bowls. Dating back to 1993, at least one Husker has appeared in 21 straight Super Bowls.

Steward Bradley was a member of the Denver Broncos during the 2013 season, but didn't play in Super Bowl 48 against the Seattle Seahawks due to an injury.

Sam Koch of the Baltimore Ravens was the most recent Husker to play in the Super Bowl, as the Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers, 34-31, in Super Bowl XLVII.

Mick Tingelhoff's four appearances in the Super Bowl with the Minnesota Vikings leads the list of all former Huskers. Unfortunately, Tingelhoff never walked away with an NFL title. Roger Craig, Grant Wistrom and Russ Hochstein each appeared in three Super Bowls with the Craig coming away with a trio of NFL championship rings to lead all former Huskers in that category.
