Mark Manning
Wrestling
Nebraska Coach Mark Manning will be making his third appearance as a coach at the 2012 Olympics. He will serve as a volunteer coach for the U.S. freestyle squad. Manning has guided the Huskers to five top-eight NCAA finishes in 12 seasons. He led the Huskers to their first Big 12 championship in 2009, earning Big 12 Coach-of-the-Year honors in 2008 and 2009. He has coached 30 All-Americans and four individual NCAA champions, including 2012 U.S. freestyle Olympian Jordan Burroughs.

Jordan Burroughs
Wrestling
Nebraska's first two-time NCAA champion (157 pounds, 2009; 165 pounds, 2011), Burroughs is a leading contender for Olympic gold at 74kg in freestyle. Burroughs, who finished his Husker career with a 128-20 record, posted unbeaten national championship seasons in 2009 and 2011. A three-time All- American, Burroughs was also a three-time Big 12 champion.

Amber Neben
Cycling
Neben attended Nebraska on a track and cross country scholarship from 1993-95. She is a two-time Olympian, as she also represented the United States in Beijing in 2008. Neben will compete in the road race for the United States in London. She won the UCI world time trial championship in 2008 and the U.S. national road race championship in 2003. Neben earned a gold medal at the Pan American Continental Championships earlier this season and was also picked for the road world championship team in 2001 and 2002.

Chantae McMillan
Track and Field
McMillan totaled 6,188 points to finish third U.S. Olympic trials, securing her first Olympic bid. McMillan was a five-time All-American and four-time Big 12 Champion during her Husker career. She also holds the Nebraska school record in the indoor pentathlon (4,398) and outdoor heptathlon (5,951).

Jordan Larson
Volleyball
Larson made her U.S. senior team international debut in 2009 at the Pan American Cup and has been the starting outside hitter on three straight FIVB World Grand Prix gold-medal teams, along with silver medal at the 2011 FIVB World Cup. Larson has played in 118 internationl matches for the U.S. At Nebraska, she was a three-time AVCA All-American and led the Huskers to three NCAA Semifinals appearances.

Peggy Liddick
Women's Gymnastics
Liddick has been the head coach of the Australian national program since 1997, after serving as the coach of two-time Olympian Shannon Miller. Liddick was a two-sport standout at Nebraska, competing in gymnastics and track and field. In gymnastics, she was Nebraska's first- ever Big Eight Conference champion, taking first place on vault in 1978. Liddick returned to the Husker program in 1989 serving as an assistant coach before coaching Miller in the 1992 and 1996 Olympics.

Aleks Maric
Men's Basketball
Aleks Maric will be making his first appearance in the Olympics playing for Australia. Maric played at Nebraska from 2005 to 2008, leading the Huskers in both scoring and rebounding in each of his final two years. A two-time All-Big 12 performer, he totaled 1,630 points to rank fifth on NU's career scoring list and is second in school history with 1,015 rebounds. He became only the third Big 12 player to record more than 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds in his collegiate career. He set 19 school or conference records while at Nebraska, and he ranks in the top 10 in Nebraska basketball history in multiple statistical categories, including points, rebounds, field goals, free throws and blocked shots. Maric currently plays for Panathinaikos in Greece, helping the team to a Euroleague title in 2011.

Jan Bidrman
Swimming and Diving
Bidrman has been selected to coach at the Olympics multiple times in his coaching career. He competed for the Swedish Olympic team in the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Chelsea Aubry
Women's Basketball
Aubry becomes the first Husker women’s basketball player to compete in the Olympics. A four-year letterwinner for the Huskers, Aubry played in 123 games with 90 starts from 2004 through 2007 for the Huskers. She was also an academic All-Big 12 selection during her career.

Brittany Timko
Women's Soccer
Timko earned numerous honors during her illustrious Nebraska career, including third-team NSCAA All-America accolades in 2004 and 2005. She picked up first-team All-Central Region honors in 2004, 2005 and 2006. She was a two-time Big 12 Player of the Year and a first-team All-Big 12 selection for the Huskers. She also was named to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team in 2003 and 2005.
Timko is making her second Olympic appearance after participating in the 2008 Olympics for Team Canada. She also played for Canada in the 2003 and 2007 World Cup.

Karina LeBlanc
Women's Soccer
LeBlanc was a second-team Soccer Buzz All-American and a third- team College Soccer Online All-American in 2000. She earned second-team All-Big 12 honors in 2000 and was a two-time first-team academic All-Big 12 selection during her Husker career.
LeBlanc was a third-round selection of the Boston Breakers in the 2000 WUSA Draft. She participated in the 2008 Olympics for Team Canada. She was a World Cup participant for Team Canada in 1999, 2003, and 2007. She was the Canadian National Team’s goalie in 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000.

Ade Dagunduro
Men's Basketball
Dagunduro was a two-year performer in the Nebraska basketball program during the 2008 and 2009 seasons and is making his first appearance in the Olympics for Nigeria. He started 63 of 64 games at Nebraska, averaging 10.8 points per game on 51 percent shooting in helping Nebraska to consecutive appearances in the NIT. As a senior, he was a third- team All-Big 12 performer, leading the Huskers in scoring (12.8 ppg), rebounding (4.4 rpg) and field-goal percentage (52.0 percent) as Nebraska posted its first .500 record in conference play since 1999.In his first season, he was named to the Big 12 all- newcomer team, averaging 8.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. His efforts helped the Huskers to a 20-win season and second round of the NIT. He has spent the last two seasons playing in Belgium.

Carl Myerscough
Track and Field
Myerscough was a three-time NCAA champion and five-time All-American during his Husker career. He won and indoor NCAA championship in 2002 and 2003 in the shot put and earned the outdoor shot put NCAA championship in 2003. Myerscough was a Big 12 outdoor shot put champion, a two-time Big 12 indoor shot put champion and a two-time Big 12 discus champion. He also holds the Nebraska record for the indoor and outdoor shot put and the discus.

Therese Alshammar
Women's Swimming
Alshammar earned one individual Big 12 Conference gold medal in the 100-yard freestyle in 1999. At the NCAA Championships, she won a silver medal in the 4×200-yard relay (1998) and finished fourth in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle (1999). In her first year, she was a part of Nebraska's Big 12 championship team.
Alshammar won her first international medal at the 1997 European Championships. She won the silver at the 1999 European Championships and won three medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics. At the World Championships in 2001, she won two silver medals. She also won the 50-meter freestyle at the 2002 European Championships.

Gyorgyi Farkas
Track and Field
Farkas has enjoyed an impressive international career for Hungary. She finished 14th in the heptathlon at the 2012 European Championships with a score of 5,874. She will be making her second appearance at the Olympics, as she finished 28th in the heptathlon in 2008. Farkas was seventh in the heptathlon at the 2004 IAAF World Junior Championships, while she placed 10th at the 2002 World Junior Meet and was 16th in the 2005 European Junior Championships. Farkas also won the 2003 Hungarian Junior Championship in the pentathlon.

Ineta Radevica
Track and Field
Radevica was a seven-time All-American at Nebraska and the 2003 NCAA outdoor long jump champion. She was a four-time Big 12 Champion in the jumps as a Husker and holds the Nebraska record for the indoor and outdoor triple jump. Radevica became the first female European champion from Latvia at the European Championships in 2010, earning the long jump title. Now a three-time Olympian, Radevica finished 13th in the long jump and 20th in the triple jump at the 2004 Athens Olympics. She qualified for the 2008 Beijing Games, but didn't complete due to being pregnant. She finished third in the long jump at the 2011 World Championships and took sixth in the long jump at the 2012 European Championships.

Janis Leitis
Track and Field
Janis Leitis, the 2009 European U23 long jump champion, will join the Nebraska track and field team this fall. Leitis is a three-time Latvian national champion, earning the 2009 200 meter title and the 2009 and 2010 long jump title. He posted a second-place finish in the 200 meters at the 2008 Latvian Championships, while finishing 20th in the long jump at the 2010 European Championships.
