Lincoln - Nebraska Coach Bo Pelini and the Huskers met with members of the media Monday at Memorial Stadium to discuss Friday's post-Thanksgiving clash with Iowa in the Heroes Game presented by HyVee.
Kickoff between the Huskers (8-3, 5-2 Big Ten) and Hawkeyes (7-4, 4-3 Big Ten) is set for 11 a.m., with live national television coverage on ABC.
The Huskers and Hawkeyes both come to Lincoln with momentum after come-from-behind wins. Iowa rallied from a 21-7 deficit to knock visiting Michigan on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, while Nebraska battled back from a 20-17 fourth-quarter deficit for a 23-20 overtime win at Penn State.
A win for Nebraska would secure its sixth consecutive nine-win campaign under Coach Bo Pelini. It would also move the Huskers to 3-0 in the Heroes Game - the annual trophy game between Nebraska and Iowa - since NU joined the Big Ten Conference in 2011.
The Huskers will celebrate Senior Day prior to kickoff on Friday, honoring 23 seniors who will be on the field for their final home games at Memorial Stadium.
