Lincoln – Nebraska’s baseball game tonight with Creighton at TD Ameritrade Park has been canceled. Due to travel complications the Huskers are still traveling back to Nebraska from their series against Michigan State that ended on Monday.

The two teams looked at pushing back the start time of tonight’s game, but Creighton has an early travel morning on Wednesday and it was not in the best interest of either team’s student-athletes to try and get the game in tonight.

Nebraska wraps up the regular-season at Hawks Field when it opens a three-game series against the Illinois Fighting Illini on Thursday at 6:35 p.m. The series continues on Friday at 6:35 p.m. and concludes on Saturday at 1:05 p.m.

The Huskers and Illini enter the series in tie for second place in the Big Ten Conference standings.
