Caleb Hawley joined the Nebraska academic staff as an assistant academic counselor in the summer of 2011. Hawley is a 2009 graduate of Oregon State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in public relations.

At Oregon State, Hawley served as an athletic communications student director for four years within the Sports Information Department.

Hawley most recently served as a social marketing specialist at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Alumni Relations in Omaha, Neb. He is currently seeking his master's degree in higher education administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Hawley works with Nebraska's men's gymnastics team, as well as both the men's and women's tennis teams.
