Furlan became an All-American in 2012, helping the women's distance medley relay team to a seventh-place finish behind a time of 11:09.83 at the 2012 NCAA Indoor Championships... posted a personal-best time of 2:07.10 in the preliminary round of the 800 meters at the 2012 Big Ten Indoor Championships... went on to finish fourth in the event (2:07.49)... posted a personal-best time of 4:42.88 in the mile run at the Mark Colligan Memorial on Jan. 28... recorded a personal-best of 9:29.20 in the 3,000 meters at the adidas Classic on Jan. 21... finished eighth in the 5,000 meters at the 2012 Big Ten Indoor Championships with a time of 16:39.19... competed in four meets during the outdoor season... finished with a personal-best time of 2:13.43 in the 800 meters at the Long Beach Invite on April 21... recorded a season-best time of 4:41.10 in the 1,500 meters at the Drake Relays on April 28... posted a personal-best time of 10.03.70 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the American Miler's Cup Series on June 13... finished with a time of 10:52.25 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the 2012 Big Ten Outdoor Championships... was an Academic All-Big Ten selection... earned a spot on the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

Furlan came back for a strong sophomore season in 2011... garnered three All-Big 12 honors as a junior... finished fifth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:50.35 at the 2011 Big 12 Indoor Championships for All-Big 12 accolades... also earned All-Big 12 honors in the distance medley relay with a sixth-place finish and a time of 11:32.59... posted a personal-best time of 2:49.16 in the 1,000 meters during preliminary action at the 2011 Big 12 Indoor Championships... recorded a season best in the mile of 4:46.84 at the Texas A&M Challenge... notched a season-best time of 9:38.70 in the 3,000 meters at the adidas Classic... tallied All- Big 12 accolades in the 3,000 steeplechase at the 2011 Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a time of 10:44.45 and a sixth-place finish... recorded a season-best 10:22.29 in the 3,000 steeplechase at the Pepsi Invitational on April 9.

2010 (Redshirt)
Furlan redshirted the entire 2010 season due to injury.

2009 (Freshman)
Furlan started her collegiate career at the Holiday Inn Invitational, running a 3:00.50 in the 1,000 meters... improved the time three weeks later at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a time of 2:54.04... ran 2:15.76 in the 800 at the Nebraska Tune-Up and cleared 4:47.95 in the mile at the Tyson Invitational... excelled in the 3,000-meter steeplechase during the outdoor season, running below the regional-qualifying standard of 10:50.25 at all five of her meets... won the Jim Click Shootout with a time of 10:48.19... ran a season best of 10:34.68 at the Payton Jordan Invitational... was one of four Huskers to earn All-Big 12 honors in the steeplechase at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, as she placed seventh... placed 14th at the NCAA Midwest Regional... competed for Canada at the Pan-Am Junior Championships in Port of Spain, Trinidad... won the bronze in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Furlan won the junior division of the Saskatchewan Provincial Cross Country Championships as a sophomore... ran in the senior division as a junior and senior, placing second and third, respectively... was a four-time Saskatchewan Provincial champion in track and field... competed in the midget division in 2005, winning the 800 meters (2:19.58)... returned in 2006 to compete in the junior division, sweeping the 800, 1,500 and 3,000 meters... competed in the senior division in 2007, finishing runner-up in the 800, 1,500 and 3,000 meters... competed nationally at the Canadian Junior Track and Field Championships, IAAF World Youth Track and Field Championships, IAAF World Junior Cross Country Championships, Canadian Junior Cross Country Championships and IAAF World Junior Track and Field Championships... was the Canadian Junior 3,000-meter steeplechase champion in 2006 (10:43.27) and the 2008 Canadian Junior 2,000-meter steeplechase champion (6:39.97)... finished ninth in 2008 at the IAAF World Junior Championships in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:16.32 in Bydegeszcz, Poland.
