The Husker Bowling Camp Experience
Husker Bowling Camp attendance and participation will improve bowling skills, build friendships, encourage good sportsmanship and create a positive environment for campers, counselors and coaches. Husker Bowling Camps has devised an elaborate program benefiting each ability level, featuring BowlersMAP and DigiTrax digital technology, coupled with Husker coaches' analysis and suggested fundamental drills that will increase development in each camper. Competition will be held throughout the camp, testing current abilities and degree of improvement.
By the conclusion of Husker Bowling Camp, each camper will have received:
- Private session with Coach Bill Straub for analysis of the personalized BowlersMAP DVD, including instructions on specific fundamental drills customized for each camper.
- Private session with Coach Paul Klempa assessing fit and drilling of current equipment plus specialized training ensuring proper custom fitting of each camper's new Columbia 300 bowling ball.
- Classroom instruction with Coach Kim Straub in related bowling topics: Analyzing lane conditions with teachings to conquer every condition; techniques for successful spare shooting; bowling ball construction, coverstock variations, and fundamental drills developed by Husker Bowling to aid everyone from novice bowler to professional bowler.
