Pinnacle Bank Arena

The 15,000-seat Pinnacle Bank Arena opened on Aug. 29, 2013, and serves as the home court of the Nebraska men's and women's basketball programs - right in the heart of downtown Lincoln.

Pinnacle Bank Arena was the cornerstone of a $344 million downtown development project in the Haymarket District, which has included new hotels, retail and office space, and residential living units.

The $179 million dollar arena is easily accessible to fans downtown and students on city campus, just steps away from the Haymarket. Well over 7,000 parking stalls are within easy walking distance of the arena.

Husker fans have come out in droves in the first two seasons of both men's and women's basketball at the arena. The Husker men have averaged more than 15,000 fans per game each of their first two seasons at Pinnacle Bank Arena, ranking 10th nationally in average home attendance with a school-record 15,569 fans per game in 2014-15.

The Husker women have averaged more than 6,000 fans per game on their new home court, ranking 11th nationally in average attendance in each of their first two seasons at the arena. Both programs also have shattered their previous records for season ticket sales.

With more than 470,400 square feet of space, the arena is divided into two bowls (upper and lower) and three levels (100, 200, 300) with Premium Seating Suites (36) and Loge Boxes (20) located between Level 100 and Level 200.

The 100 Level includes Courtside Seating for both men's and women's basketball, while an expansive student section for men's basketball fills more than 1,000 seats right behind the benches to add to the electric game-day environment in the arena.

The arena is surrounded by more than 160 concession points of sale, including 11 permanent concession stands. The building also features two private Club Lounges, one located on the Main Concourse (Level 100) and one on the Premium Level Concourse.

The Nebraska men's basketball program ranked 10th nationally by averaging a school-record 15,569 fans per game in 2014-15. The Husker men and women joined forces to make Nebraska one of only five schools in the nation to rank among the top 15 teams in the country in both men's and women's basketball attendance.

The Nebraska women's basketball team has averaged more than 6,000 fans per game in its first two seasons at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Huskers also played host to the NCAA Lincoln Regional (Sweet 16, Elite Eight) games at the arena in 2014. The regional featured eventual national champion UConn, along with Texas A&M, DePaul and BYU, and was the second-best attended regional in the nation.

Pinnacle Bank Arena's main entrance faces south and offers an exciting view of the entire city of Lincoln, including the state capitol. The open spaces in the concourse allow fans to move freely to and from their seats, concession stands and more. A vast outdoor seating area is also available on the second level of the building.

The Railyard is a hotbed of activity in the city of Lincoln throughout the year and is steps away from the main entrance of Pinnacle Bank Arena. The entertainment district features a giant screen outdoors in a common courtyard. In the winter, the courtyard is converted to an ice rink for public skating.
