Prices are set at $17 (reserved), $11 (general admission) and $9 (youth/senior general admission), with a limit of four tickets per order. The Nebraska vs. Illinois match will be the only match of the season that students can buy tickets to prior to the day of the match and they will be $6. In 2008, 13,412 fans watched the Huskers sweep the LSU Tigers 3-0. Last season, 13,870 fans packed the Devaney Center to see the Huskers loss a tough 3-2 decision to UCLA.
Tickets are also still available for the Huskers’ annual Red/White Scrimmage, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 21 at the Coliseum. Scheduled to start at 7 p.m., tickets are priced at $10 (reserved) and $8 (general admission).
The Huskers will open the 2010 season at the Qwest Center in Omaha, where they will face Kentucky and Florida from the SEC at the Runza/AVCA Showcase on Aug. 28-29. Rounding out the four-team field is Iowa State, with all four programs finishing in the top 15 of the final 2009 AVCA poll. Tickets for the Runza/AVCA Showcase are on sale at Ticketmaster.com and at Ticketmaster outlets across the state.
