Life Skills Counselor Meetings
Each Life Skills Counselor is assigned specific teams to support and counsel.  Meetings focus on personal and career development while promoting opportunities for campus involvement, community service and leadership.

Resume Writing

Every Nebraska student-athlete meets individually with a Life Skills staff member to create and maintain a personal resume throughout their collegiate career.  Since it is critical that a student build his/her resume throughout his/her collegiate career, as part of the Husker Life Seminar each student-athlete creates a resume during the initial semester on campus.  This allows the athlete to learn ways to best improve his/her resume and take steps each year to strengthen the resume.  As an athlete moves through their collegiate career, they will meet with their Life Skills Counselor in follow-up meetings, allowing for resume updates.  Nebraska athletics is proud to boast a 100% resume completion rate.
