Wichita, Kan. - Continued rain in the Wichita area has delayed the 22nd-ranked Nebraska softball team's Saturday doubleheader with Wichita State. The teams will still play a doubleheader, weather permitting, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The doubleheader was originally scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. but was delayed to allow the rain to pass through the Wichita area. A free audio broadcast will still be available for both games, with pre-game coverage beginning at 5:20 p.m. on Huskers.com.
Sunday's series finale is still scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
UPDATE (3:25 P.M.): Saturday's doubleheader will now start at 6 p.m. due to continued rain.
UPDATE (4:50 P.M.): The field is nearly ready to play, so first pitch is now scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
