Nebraska vs. Wichita State Quotes
Head Coach Scott Jacobson
On the match
I thought doubles played a big role. We got off to some good starts at the 1, 2 and 3 doubles, and then Wichita State made a little run in the middle and we had to regain our composure at all three spots. I think that was the difference, getting off to good starts in the doubles. From an emotional standpoint it is really important and it helped us on the singles courts.
On Mary Weatherholt's 200th win
Just 200, huh? Pretty amazing. She is the best ever at Nebraska. She's been through a lot, and I couldn't be happier for her. We are really proud of her, and it couldn't happen to a nicer kid than Mary Weatherholt, that's for sure.
On tomorrow's match with UNLV
UNLV's been on a roll. They were underdogs and they ended up winning their conference tournament and that's how they qualified, beating a team that was No. 42 in the nation. Then Tulsa today - here's a team that's mid-twenties in the nation. UNLV loses the doubles point, then manages to win four singles matches, which is a hard thing to do. So obviously they've got a lot of fight in them. We think we've got a great opportunity tomorrow, playing at home. We hope we get as many people or more out tomorrow as we did today. It should be a great atmosphere.

I loved the atmosphere. We had a good crowd. One of our biggest of the year. Definitely pleased with that. We had a lot of family support. We have a lot of kids with their families from overseas, and that means a lot for them to be able to have their families here supporting them.
Mary Weatherholt - Senior
I thought we came out ready for Wichita State's best. I think we all brought good tennis. Wichita State made some good runs in doubles, but we kept our composure and fought through, and that was big heading into singles.
On the atmosphere
It was so awesome. I love the support. So many people came out and they were loud. They were just really awesome cheering us on, and it meant a lot.
On her 200th career win
It took me by surprise because I didn't know it happened. I guess it's cool. I don't go for that but I'm really happy we got the team win today. That is definitely bigger because we are one step closer to the Sweet 16.
I'm excited for it. I think it is a good one for us. They had a good match today against Tulsa, so they are definitely a quality program. I think we're excited to play them and get out there.
Wichita State Quotes

On the match
Nebraska is hosting for a reason. They are a really strong team. The four seniors at the top really played well, and really their whole lineup played well. I was proud of the way we competed and certainly pushed them across the board. They were obviously the better team. We wish them luck tomorrow, but I was proud of our effort today, and proud of our season.
