Bradenton, Fla. – The Nebraska men’s golf team fell to 10th-seeded Penn State, 4-0-1, in its final showing at the Big Ten Match Play Championship at The Concession Golf Club on Saturday.
Junior Josh Reinertson, making his first appearance of the season, managed to halve his match against the Nittany Lions’ Geoff Vartelas. Vartelas raced out to an early lead, winning each of the first four holes, but Reinertson responded by winning Nos. 5 and 8 to head to the back nine 2-Down.
