1990: Senior Season
Jill Rishel led the Huskers in her senior season, playing in all 50 games.  Rishel was second on the team with a .299 batting average.  For the season, Rishel accumulated 43 hits, six runs batted in, 47 total bases and 20 stolen bases in 22 attempts.  She produced a .930 fielding percentage in the outfield, while committing three errors. Rishel ranks sixth all-time in at bats for Nebraska, fifth in runs scored, eighth in hits and second in stolen bases.   

1989: Junior Season
Rishel led the Huskers by scoring 27 times and finished tied for second with a total of 45 hits and 19 stolen bases.  She was selected honorable-mention All-Big Eight and earned a berth on the Big Eight All-Tournament team after collecting four hits in 11 appearances.  In a shortened fall schedule because of a broken bone in her hand, she collected 11 hits in 20 at bats for a .550 batting mark, while stealing four bases and scoring eight times.

1988: Sophomore Season
In her first season as a regular, Rishel responded by collecting 35 hits for a .226 batting average and scored 28 times.  She drove in 10 runs.

1987: Freshman Season
A walk-on, Rishel saw limited action as a freshman, basically used as a pinch-runner.  She had just 52 at bats with 16 hits, but scored 13 times and registered eight stolen bases.

Jill Rishel is the daughter of Bill and Barbara Rishel, majors in broadcasting, graduated from North Platte Senior High School and was born Dec. 29, 1967.
