Lincoln, Neb. --- Nebraska men’s gymnastics coach Chuck Chmelka announced Monday the addition of three high-profile recruits. Evan Hymanson, Joshua Martin and Jacob Bonnay signed a National Letter-of-Intent to attend the University of Nebraska and join the Huskers beginning in the 2017 season.
“I’m really excited about these three guys joining our team next season,” Chmelka said. “They’re tremendous athletes and great students. Evan Hymanson is a powerful and elegant gymnast who will compete for us in all events. Joshua Martin is quick and powerful. He’s fantastic on floor and vault, but will help our team on all events as well. Jacob Bonnay is very developed on pommel horse, parallel bars and high bar, but he’ll compete in all-around for us too.”
