Monday Press Conference - Huskers Focus on Illini
Head Coach Mike Riley and members of the Nebraska football team met with members of the media Monday at Memorial Stadium to talk about this Friday's meeting with Illinois.
Kickoff between Nebraska (2-2) and Illinois (2-1) at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Ill., is set for 7 p.m. Friday night, with a live national telecast by FS1.
The Huskers are coming off a 27-17 victory over Rutgers that kicked off conference play, while the Illini were on a bye last week and will play their first conference game of the year on Friday.
Friday's game will be the fifth between the schools as Big Ten opponents. The schools now meet each year as members of the Big Ten West Division. Nebraska has limited Illinois to 19 or fewer points in the previous four Big Ten meetings between the teams, while NU has scored at least 31 points in three of the four meetings.
