Boyer Reaches National Ranking

By NU Athletic Communications

Lincoln, Neb. -- Husker junior Toby Boyer has cracked the top 100 players in this week’s ITA National Singles Rankings at No. 76. He is the first Husker to be ranked since his brother Dusty Boyer was ranked No. 83 in 2015.

Nebraska Coach Kerry McDermott was ecstatic about the news. "We are thrilled as coaches to see Toby finally break into the ITA National Singles Rankings at No. 76 and his hard work and effort this past summer and fall is starting to pay off,” McDermott said. “Hopefully, this will motivate his teammates to work as hard and we want to continue to have a few more guys make the national rankings before the end of the year and push the team to break into the top 35 by the end of the year."
