Huskers End Non-Conference Play with Two Road Matches
Wichita, Kan. -- The Nebraska men's tennis team will compete in two road matches March 9 and 10 taking on Wichita State and a neutral site match against New Mexico. The Huskers look to finish their non-conference schedule strong before opening Big Ten play on March 17.
The 9-1 Huskers finished a weekend of matches going 2-0 against Denver winning 4-3, and against Northern Illinois 4-1.
Wichita State currently has a 5-match win streak and a 6-5 record with wins over UMKC, New Mexico, Grand Canyon and many more. New Mexico currently holds a 6-4 record with wins over Omaha, Michigan State, Drake and others.
The Big Red will return home for their Big Ten opening matchup with Wisconsin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17 at the Dillon Tennis Center.
