Schweihofer, Crouse Earn NACGC/W All-America Honors
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska women's gymnasts Megan Schweihofer and Sienna Crouse were named NACGC/W Regular Season All-Americans, announced by the NACGC/W on Thursday.
NACGC/W Regular Season All-Americans are determined by individual Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) in each event. Individuals ranked 1-8 in each event earn first-team honors, while individuals ranked 9-16 earn second-team honors, inclusive of all ties.
Schweihofer earned first-team honors on floor, while Crouse earned first-team honors on vault, and second-team honors on bars. The pair of gymnasts, both juniors, are arguably Nebraska's most regarded all-arounders in 2018, both posting scores over 39.500 in the all-around this season. Schweihofer won the Big Ten all-around title outright at the Big Ten Championships, and was the Co-Champion on floor. Both Crouse and Schweihofer were named to the Big Ten All-Championships team, first team All-Big Ten, and Academic All-Big Ten.
Crouse, Schweihofer and the Huskers will return to action at the NCAA Raleigh Regional hosted by NC State on April 7 at 3 p.m. CT. The meet will be broadcast live by ACC Network Extra.
