Huskers Set to Compete in ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Lincoln--The Nebraska swimming and diving team is set to compete in the inaugural ACC/Big Ten Challenge, announced by the Big Ten and the Atlantic Coast Conferences announced Monday.

The dual meet is set for Nov. 10-11 at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center on the campus of Purdue University.

Ticket and television broadcast information will be available in the near future.

The short-course dual will have a running score kept throughout the dual meet competition by combining both men and women. Each athlete may be entered in up to six events, including individual events and relays.

Michigan won the women’s Big Ten Championship for the second consecutive year in the 2017-18 season, while Indiana men earned the 2017-18 conference title for the second consecutive year.

NC State won the ACC Men’s Swimming and Diving Championship for the fourth consecutive year in the 2017-18 season. Virginia captured the women’s ACC title for the 10th time in the past 11 years.
