#ProBigRed: Huskers in the NFL - Week 14

Several former Huskers made an impact in the NFL this weekend.

Brett Maher kicked his way into record books on Sunday. He accounted for 11 points in the win over the Eagles. Maher went 3-4 on field goal attempts, making kicks from 28, 62 and 21 yards. His missed field goal was wide right from 45 yards out. Maher booted home a 62-yard field goal in the second quarter as time expired. His 62-yard field goal is a new career long, the longest made field goal in Cowboy history and the seventh longest field goal in NFL history. He successfully converted both of his extra point attempts on the day. Maher also assisted on one tackle.

Maliek Collins and Randy Gregory also assisted the Cowboys in their victory. Collins started at defensive tackle and played the entire game, racking up one tackle, one tackle for loss, one quarterback hurry and recovering a fumble against the Eagles. Gregory contributed one tackle, a sack for five yards, one tackle for loss and two quarterback hurries in the win.

Spencer Long and Quincy Enunwa helped power the Jets to victory over the Bills on Sunday. Long started at left guard and played the entire game, helping New York pile up 170 yards through the air and 78 yards on the ground. Enunwa started at wide receiver and hauled in three receptions for 22 yards. His longest catch of the day was 11 yards.

Lavonte David (Buccaneers), Prince Amukamara (Bears), Ndamukong Suh (Rams) and Nathan Gerry (Eagles) were the most successful former Blackshirts in the NFL this weekend. David started at linebacker against the Saints and played the entire game, recording 10 tackles in the contest. Amukamara started at corner and piled up six tackles, three pass deflections and one interception which he returned for nine yards. Suh started at nose tackle and notched six tackles in the contest against the Bears. Gerry also racked up six tackles against the Cowboys.

Sam Koch flipped the field on three occasions for the Ravens. He punted three times for 158 yards and averaged 52.7 yards per punt. His longest punt of the day was 54 yards and he landed one punt inside the 20.

WR Quincy Enunwa: Started at wide receiver and hauled in three receptions for 22 yards. His longest catch of the day was 11 yards.
