Knapton Qualifies for NCAA Championships

Austin, Texas- Two-time All-American Abigail Knapton has qualified for her third consecutive NCAA Championships run with her performance in the three-meter at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships.

Knapton posted a final score of 675.55 (335.15 carried over from prelims), earning her a ninth-place finish.

In the preliminaries for the three-meter dive, Jessica Warak posted a 288.20 and Sara Troyer scored a 276.35.

The Huskers also competed in the one-meter event. In the preliminaries, Knapton's score was a 249.75, and Troyer finished with a 246.30. Grace Tiernon posted a 225.50.

Knapton, Tiernon and Warak will compete in the platform dive event on Wednesday, March 13 to complete the meet.

The 2019 NCAA Championships will be held in Austin, Texas, March 20-23.
