Huskers Conclude Heineken Hawaii Invitational

The Nebraska beach volleyball team wrapped up the Heineken Hawaii Invitational with a pair of matches on Sunday at Queen's Beach in Honolulu. 

The Huskers (10-6) fell 5-0 to No. 5 Hawaii in the semifinals and dropped the third-place match to Boise State, 4-1. Megan Miller and Callie Schwarzenbach earned the Huskers' lone point of the day, coming from behind to defeat Kenna Hanses and Maya Watkins of Boise State, 12-21, 22-20, 17-15. Miller and Schwarzenbach were also the only pair to force a third set against Hawaii. 

NU freshman Kenzie Knuckles was named to the all-tournament team. 

The Huskers will play Boise State and Hawaii again on Monday at the Ching Complex. The Huskers' 8 p.m. (CT) match against Hawaii will have a live stream available here
