AUSTIN, Texas - After two weather delays at the second day of the NCAA Championships, Nebraska added two second-team All-Americans and six honorable mention All-Americans at Mike A. Myers Stadium on Thursday.

A pair of hurdlers garnered second-team All-America honors. Chanel Freeman became a second-team All-American in the 100-meter hurdles. She finished 13th with a PR time of 13.08 at her first NCAA Championships, good for the No. 3 non-wind-aided time on the NU top-10 list. Michaela Peskova collected second-team accolades in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing 15th with a time of 57.99. It was also Peskova's first time competing at the NCAA Championships.

Jasmine Barge was an honorable mention All-American in the 400-meter hurdles, placing 17th with a time of 58.64. Barge's time was 0.60 seconds faster than her first appearance in the event at the National Championships in 2017.

The women's 4x100-meter relay team of Whitney Bridges, Lakayla Harris, Deja Ingram and Quashira McIntosh picked up honorable mention All-America accolades with a time of 44.96 to finish 24th. It was the first NCAA Championships showing for each member of the relay and was also the first appearance of a Nebraska women's 4x100-meter relay team at the National Championships since 2003.

Shylia Riley was the only Nebraska field athlete to compete on Thursday. She finished with honorable mention accolades, placing 21st in the long jump with a distance of 19-7 (5.97m). It was her first time competing at the NCAA Championships.
