2003: Kyle Odvody came on strong at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships, winning the title with a leap of 7-2 1/4... tied for 12th place at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, clearing 7-1 3/4... tied for 10th at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, only clearing 6-7 1/2 before exiting the competition... won the Concordia Twilight, clearing 7-0... took silver at the Ward Haylett Invitational, leaping 6-11 1/2... captured gold at the K.T.  Woodman Classic with a 6-11 3/4... had a successful indoor campaign, matching his personal-best mark of 7-1 3/4 on two occasions... was second on misses at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a leap of 7-1 3/4... finished 16th at the NCAA Indoor Championships, after clearing 6-10 1/4... won the 2003 adidas Classic (7-1 3/4). 2002: Odvody tied for 16th in the high jump at the 2002 NCAA Outdoor Championships with a height of 6-10 3/4" career-best performance was his winning 7-2 1/2 mark at the Kansas State, Wyoming Triangular... runner-up at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a jump of 7-0 1/4... jumped a personal indoor best and provisional-qualifying height of 7-1 3/4 at the Big 12 Indoor Championships for another second-place finish... earned All-America honors by tying for seventh at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a height of 6-11 3/4. 2001: Finished second in the high jump at the Big 12 outdoor meet with a mark of 7-0 1/2... cleared an outdoor season-best 7-1 at the USATF Junior National Championships... placed fourth in the high jump (6-9 1/2) at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... recorded a season-best indoor high jump of 6-11 at the Northern Iowa Invitational.
