Former Nebraska All-American and Academic All-American Hall of Fame member Dave Rimington spent part of his summer helping youngsters improve their football skills while also raising money for the Boomer Esiason Foundation.

Several former Huskers assisted Rimington in organizing and running the camps. The sons and grandsons of many former Nebraska players were also on hand to learn from some of the greatest Nebraska players of all time.

Former Husker Jim Murphy, the head of the Nebraska Army National Guard, also helped make camp events memorable for the youngsters by bringing in a Blackhawk helicopter and a Hummer.

Current Nebraska defensive end Jay Moore from Elkhorn and quarterback Zac Taylor also provided inspirational messages to the campers and took timeout to pose together in front of the helicopter.

Photos of the camp events are available in the album link listed above this story.
